In accordance with the 2018 Agriculture Improvement Act (commonly known as the 2018 Farm Bill), hemp is defined as Cannabis sativa L. (including seeds and derivatives) containing no more than 0.3% delta‑9 THC by dry weight—and is no longer classified as a controlled substance under the Controlled Substances Act
